Why an Appraisal is Needed

Many institutions, especially religious buildings, do not have written and photographic documentation of stained glass windows. Due to disasters such as fire, valuable art glass can be lost or damaged beyond recognition. Only through good documentation, can these art treasures be restored or recreated. An accurate appraisal will also give insurance companies the information they need to process your claim.
